## How to write it

- **Mention what they've achieved**: A project, a fix, a new starter they trained: one example shows you noticed.
- **Thank them, not only congratulate them**: An anniversary is a chance to say what their work means to the team.
- **Scale it to the milestone**: A short note for one year; something more reflective for five, ten or twenty.
- **Get the whole team involved**: A card everyone signs means more than a single email from HR.
