Using CardShare.ai in ChatGPT or Claude

How do I connect CardShare.ai to ChatGPT or Claude?
Find CardShare.ai in ChatGPT's apps or Claude's connectors directory and click Connect. Sign in to your CardShare.ai account (or create a free one) and click Allow. Then ask for a card, for example “Make a birthday card for Sarah from the team”. See using CardShare.ai in Claude for example requests and everything it can do.
How do I disconnect it?
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps; in Claude, open Settings → Connectors. Then disconnect CardShare.ai. Your cards stay in your CardShare.ai account.
The card only shows as links, or photo upload isn't available
Some versions of ChatGPT and Claude can't show the card or the photo picker in the chat. The links do the same job: open the card's edit link to see and change it, or to add a reference photo for the cover.
It says an app “isn’t allowed to connect”
To keep your account safe, only ChatGPT and Claude can connect to CardShare.ai. If you see this while connecting from one of them, email us the app's name and we'll look into it.
What can ChatGPT or Claude see?
Only the cards in the CardShare.ai account you connect: it can create and edit cards and see how many people have signed them. Photos you choose for a cover are only used to draw it; we don't keep them. See our privacy policy for full details.

Slack app

How do I install the Slack app?
Go to cardshare.ai/slack/install and click Add to Slack. Approve the requested permissions and the app is available across your workspace. You need permission to install apps in your Slack workspace; if you don't have it, Slack will send a request to your workspace admins.
What Slack commands are available?
/cardshareai opens a form to create a new card. Pick the occasion, recipient and tone, and AI writes a personalised headline and draws a cover image. /cardshareai-link connects your Slack user to your CardShare.ai account so cards you create in Slack show up in your dashboard.
Why does the app ask me to connect my account?
Cards belong to a CardShare.ai account so you can manage them from the dashboard, collect contributions, and send the finished card. The first time you use /cardshareai, we'll send you a private link to connect (or create) your account. The link expires after 15 minutes. If it does, run the command again for a new one.
The slash command isn't responding. What should I check?
First, confirm the app is still installed in your workspace (ask a workspace admin, or check Slack's "Apps" section). If it is, try the command again, as it can occasionally time out. If it still doesn't respond, email us your workspace name and roughly when it happened, and we'll look into it.
How do I remove the app from my workspace?
A workspace admin can remove it from Slack under Manage apps in your workspace settings. Removing the app revokes its access to your workspace. Cards you already created remain in your CardShare.ai account and can be deleted from your dashboard at any time.
What data does the Slack app access?
Only what it needs to run: workspace and user identifiers to respond to your slash commands, and the card details you enter into the creation form. We never read your channels or messages. See our privacy policy for full details.

Your account

How do I delete a card or my account?
