FAQs

Padlet alternatives for group cards

Is there a free Padlet alternative for group cards?

Yes. CardShare.ai is free to design, sign and send, with no ads, and the recipient gets a greeting card rather than a board. SendWishOnline has free cards with ads.

Can people add video or voice messages, like on Padlet?

Thankbox takes voice notes, and video on Premium. On CardShare.ai and GroupCards.io people add a message and a GIF, and GroupCards.io takes photos too.

Which Padlet alternative works with Slack?

CardShare.ai has a Slack app on every card: type /cardshareai to start one. Kudoboard works with Slack and Microsoft Teams on its Pro plan and above. With GroupGreeting, Thankbox and GroupCards.io you share the signing link in Slack yourself.

When is Padlet still the better choice?

When you want one tool for brainstorming, classrooms and cards, want contributors to post videos, audio or files, or your school already uses Padlet with Microsoft Teams.
